Pupil without proper uniform will not be allowed to attend the classes.
Students should be neat and clean.
Valuable ornaments and long stead (gold, silver etc) should not be worn in school.
Pupil should obey the instructions given by the teachers and the school authorities.
In need of leave, the students are obliged to bring leave letter with parents’ signature.
Continuous absence for 15 days without leave will cause the removal of the pupil’s name from the school register.
Promotion will be granted or denied on the basis of marks obtained in the examinations.
No re-examinations.
Pupil are not allowed to enter other classrooms at any time without proper permission.
In case of emergency, the parents/guardians (whose names/signature) are mentioned in the school diary only have the right to take the child from the school during the school time.
Students are not allowed to go outside the school premise during the school hours.
ATTENDANCE
All the students should attend the class punctually in neat and tidy uniform. If by chance a pupil comes late, an entry has to be made in the page allotted for late attendance in the School Diary and the signature of the Principal, or other persons authorised, be obtained before entering the class.
No leave of absence will be granted except on written application of the parent, addressed to Principal in advance. Students who for unexplained reasons absent themselves for more than five days continuously are struck off the rolls and as a rule, are to be readmitted.
If the student is absent due to illness, the Principal must be informed at once and the student must submit a medical certificate when he/ she comes to school.
No student should be seen outside the class room during class hours.
Only those students who secure 80% of attendance will be considered for promotion to the next higher class.
DISMISSAL
Irregular attendance, non-payment of fees, habitual disobedience and conduct, injurious to the moral tone of the school, justify dismissal at any time of the year.
Malpractice in examination is a grave offence. If found guilty, the following rule shall apply; For the first time, the student will be awarded zero marks for all the papers of the said examination. If repeated, it will lead to either detention or dismissal.
If any correction is done on the report card by the student s/he will be awarded zero in all subjects.
Any misbehaviour of the serious nature that has become public knowledge is liable to bring about suspension or dismissal even if it took place outside the school premises.
Any student failing twice in the same class will not be allowed to continue in the school.
DECENCY, DECORUM AND CONDUCT
Pupils will keep the class rooms and school premises absolutely clean, thus promote a clean environment.
Damage to school property, disfiguring of walls, indecent language or behaviour are serious offences which may entail punishment and even dismissal.
Pupils will, at all times show respect and reverence to school authorities and members of the staff. They should remember that every child of this institution is a gentleman or lady in the making.
Pupils should be responsible for the safety of their belongings. They are advised not to bring any costly articles to the school.
A student must obtain prior written permission from the Principal before joining any course or activity, not conducted or organized by the school. These activities should never clash with the school programme.
English should be spoken in the school premises and in the School bus, to acquire greater fluency in the use of the language.
Collection of the funds or giving gifts to anyone for any purpose, must be with the permission of the Principal.
Pupils should not bring any magazine, periodicals or CD’s to the school without the permission of the Principal.
Students are expected to take part in all the co-curricular activities of the school as a part of their civic, cultural and leadership training.
Though every care is taken to ensure the safety and welfare of the students, accidents may happen. The school will not be held responsible for accidents, small or serious, that happen to the students during the school hours.
In all, it must be noted that the school is keen on the children maintaining a presentable personality in dress, language and outlook. Every pupil is expected to keep the high tone of the school by excelling in conduct, good manners and cleanliness both in and out of the school.
